HSC Results 2026: When and How to Check Results in Bangladesh

The prescribed format is:

HSC [first three letters of board name] [roll number] 2026

For example, a candidate under the Dhaka Education Board with roll number 123456 would type:

HSC Dha 123456 2026

The message should then be sent to 16140. Candidates should confirm the official instructions before sending the message and be aware that their mobile operator may charge for the SMS.

HSC result re-scrutiny: Application dates

Students who believe their published results require review can apply for re-scrutiny of their answer scripts online from November 1 to November 7.

The education boards are expected to publish the detailed application procedure and relevant instructions on their official websites. Candidates should follow the applicable board instructions and deadlines rather than relying on unofficial social media posts.

Re-scrutiny is a formal review process; students should consult the official notice for its scope, requirements and any applicable fees.

What students should prepare before result day

Candidates should keep their roll number, registration number and education-board information readily available. They should use official websites, check that they have selected the correct examination year and avoid sharing personal examination details on unverified websites.

If a result page fails to load immediately after publication, students can try again later or check through their institutions. A temporary website problem does not, by itself, mean a candidate's result is missing.

For students and families, the most important dates are October 31 for the result announcement and November 1–7 for re-scrutiny applications. Checking the official notices will help candidates avoid missing the relevant deadlines.
